The Carolines Resort is the most unique resort in Palau. All of our "rooms" are actually private hand crafted bungalows. Our bungalows are modeled after traditional Palauan architecture using local materials such as bamboo, mahogany and mangrove. The structures are made almost entirely from wood. These bungalows may sound rustic but they are equipped with the amenities that you would expect from most hotels; like: air conditioning, TV and VCR, refrigerator, mini bar and private bath. Each bungalow has a private balcony so you can enjoy our spectacular view or enjoy the sunset from your bungalow.
The Carolines Resort is often referred to as "the small resort on top of the hill." This refers to our size and location. We currently boast a modest, 7 private bungalows situated on a secluded hilltop over looking the beautiful Philippine Sea. If you are looking for a place to get away from all the traffic, all the bustle of the city and all the people; then we are the place that you are looking for. A pleasant ocean breeze greets you as you return from the day's activities just in time to watch the sunset from you bungalow.
